Epitiro Chief Wins First CEO of the Year Award
CARDIFF - Gavin Johns, CEO of Epitiro Ltd., has won the regional British Venture Capitalist Association (BVCA) award for best venture capital backed Chief Executive Officer 2009. Nominees from across the UK were judged on company performance from Jan 1st 2008 to Dec 31st 2008 by a panel of investment industry experts.
Epitiro provides broadband, video and voice communications analysis solutions to ISPs, mobile operators and government regulators. On the strength of an investment by Finance Wales plc in 2008 the company expanded its network test monitoring globally with a centralised managed service business model. The company’s unique and scalable software-based technology led to sales in Europe, the Middle East, New Zealand and Singapore in 2008, whilst building on a client list that included virtually all major UK ISP and operators.

The BVCA will announce national award winners at the CEO Awards Dinner, Oct 14th, Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London.
