Ofcom UK Mobile Broadband Speeds Revealed

May 26, 2011 - Ofcom has today published its first research into the performance of mobile broadband across the UK.  In the largest and most copmprehensive study undertaken within the mobile industry, Epitiro's analysed the Top 5 MNOs ('3',  O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone) using 3 survey methodologies:

• Network Capability: Dedicated priobes that testing 24 x 7 in England, Wales, Scotland and N. Ireland
• Actual Experience: A Consumer Panel in excess of 1,000 participants
• Coverage Variation: Drive testing in urban, semi-urban and rural locations
