3G / UMTS

ipQ puts the customer at the center of the mobile measurement process.

Traditional measurement methods measure technical quality in terms of coverage, throughput and latency as a qualifier in the market. ipQ correlates QoS with QoE data and adds an important variable to the evaluation – the actual performance delivered to the Customer.

Epitiro’s ipQ app actively monitors the performance of your mobile broadband  service and provide critical subscriberperformance data  in real-time without the cost of 24x7 personnel.

  • Smartphone and tablet devices :  ipQ software, deployed on Subscriber’s devices provides measurements automatically and unobtrusively, with no further actions required by the Customer or Operator;
  • Drive test probes: Nomadic probes, with integrated GPS, can be transported to test anywhere anywhere without integration into the operator's network or connectivity to the internet.
  • Fixed probes Fiied probes can also be deployed in key business premises or public locations (airports, shopping centres, office buildings), base stations or in drive test vans.

True End-to-End Testing
End-to-end testing, including cellular backhaul measurements, is completed by deploying ipQ fixed probes at the NodeB capable of measuring  the network characteristics (jitter, latency, loss & throughput) and  applications performance (VoIP MOS, Video and Data services).

Advanced IP performance measurements for 3/3.5G networks
